Client Review: I regret hiring Gary A. Cornwall to represent me in my divorce case. About the kindest thing I can say is to describe him as an affable clown. However, he'll turn on you. Short attention span, not a good listener, sloppy and flaky. Wait'll you get one of his bills! Bordering on indecipherable, intentionally so, I expect. Really, I'm so disappointed. I thought this was someone I could get along with, communicate with and succeed with. How wrong I was! He is supposed to be my advocate, but at this point I feel our relationship is more adversarial than anything. I have known him to buddy up to opposing counsel, joke with them at my expense, and then stand back as they shredded his badly worded pleadings. He can turn on the charm at times, and appear firm, but in my experience, that only emerges when he's looking to collect. I am guessing that a woman might have a better experience with him, but probably only to a certain point, before his juvenile approach to life gets the better of him. Pathetic. But his kids are about raised, he's long since divorced, so what does he have to lose? He'll talk about wanting to help you out, but as you can gather, in my experience, he's only out for No. 1, and brother, that ain't you. Stay away!
