Can he make me leave and how can i get the money i have invested back?
food truck. Every Day he makes me leave and he closes it down but he will not leave and let me run it myself and he uses the licenses to say it belongs to him and I have to leave. but i have money invested in it ( way more than he does). He is unreasonable and hot headed. I just want to know if he can legally run me off from there.
2 attorney answers
Hello. Although no written agreement is needed to form a general partnership, it is best to have one when 2 or more people want to conduct business because it shows your intent to act as co-owners in a business for-profit . Although I am not licensed to practice in Texas, I would advise that you consult with an attorney licensed in Texas to speak about your rights as a partner.
I hope this helps and good luck.

I take it that you did not have a written agreement. You would be best served by finding and hiring a business lawyer who likes to litigate. It doesn’t sound like this is going to end with hugs and kisses.
Hope this helps. If you think this post...
