No. There is no eviction allowed anywhere in NYS and for that matter, in the entire USA, that is legal by the landlord's self-help alone. All evictions in NY require commencement and successful prosecution of an eviction proceeding.
But the Family relationship may allow a parent to seek a protective order against an adult child. If you feel you can do that on your own lookup:
