Was it a traffic ticket or a misdemeanor crime? Reckless driving is a misdemeanor crime. Expungement can be done when a criminal/traffic charge is nolle prosequi or dismissed, but not for guilty verdict.
You can pull up your compliance summary from Virginia DMV online account. It would list the requirements that you have to complete to get your license back.
