Do the police still knock on doors for people who have warrants for like domestic violence, and other crimes that's not murder?
1 attorney answer
If someone knows of a warrant out for their arrest, they should speak with an attorney immediately. The attorney might be able to work through any issues related to the warrant.
Concerning no-knock. In certain circumstances, Texas law enforcement officers are permitted to seek a no-knock warrant. The situation you described, without more, does not appear to apply to a no-knock warrant scenario.
