You will need to file an eviction. Due to the pandemic, landlords have to meet certain requirements in order to evict a tenant. The timeline is here: https://homelinemn.org/phaseout/
If your boyfriend is abusive, contact a domestic violence shelter to get an order for protection. In the protective order, you can ask the court to prohibit him from being within a certain distance of your home.
Give him proper legal notice, and file an eviction when he doesn't leave.
