You have limited options if you cannot afford a Fee Advance. You can check around in the county where the lawsuit would be filed to see if you could find someone who charges less. You could discuss the issue with the local Bar Association to find a free lawyer (pro bono) or a low cost lawyer (low bono), The only other way to handle this is to represent yourself. You could go ahead and file your lawsuit and ask the court to order the other party to pay your legal fees or fee advances. Since this is a civil matter you are not given a free lawyer ordered by the court.
