Ohio law doesn't permit rent withholding--you have to pay your rent in full and on time or risk eviction. If you are a month to month tenant, the landlord can terminate your tenancy at any time by giving you the proper 30 day notice. Start packing.
Did you have a legal question you wanted to ask? THis is a general legal Q &A site---no question = no answer.
I would offer that you should have checked with an OH landlord tenant attorney BEFORE you decided to hold back rent---your approach was not in accordance with the laws in most states and you put yourself in the cross-hairs when you could/should have taken another approach that would have put the LL in the cross-hairs.

The answer to “speak to an attorney” is absolutely proper and correct in every situation.
