A legal gray area.One of the biggest misconceptions about NYC housing court actions, is that its operations are essentially dead; that is NOT necessarily true, since as of the time of this writing, the Housing Courts across all 5 boroughs, have been allowing for virtual court conferences. Residential landlord-tenant cases may have been impacted more than commercial type of cases, in large part due to the Covid 19 Emergency Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention Act of 2020.
