Biography
Robert is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law since the first year this specialty was recognized by the North Carolina State Bar in 2000. He has requalified every 5 years. Robert has been recognized by Martindale Hubbell Law Directory as "AV rated" since 1997, which is the highest recognition for ethics and professional ability in his field based upon professional peers. He is married to Donna Hodgman and has three children and five grandchildren. The family includes two other attorneys, Heather Hodgman Jahnes and Kimberly Hodgman Murphy. Heather has practiced in the family law firm for over 10 years with her father. Kimberly practices in Dallas,Texas and was a paralegal with the firm before going to law school. Robert's son, Hamilton, is a civil engineer in Vermont. The firm prides itself on being family oriented and works with all types of injury claims, including Workers' Compensation,Social Security disability, Disability insurance (LTD), personal injury/auto and other types of accidents. We generally work on a contingent fee basis and offer free initial consultations.
