V James Dickson

Jim has been recognized in Florida Super Lawyers® 2006-2017, as well as in Best Lawyers® 2009-2017.  He has an AV Martindale Rating.  He was listed among Tampa Bay's Top Lawyers 2010 - Tampa Bay Magazine and was selected as a Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society Fellow.  He is admitted to practice in all courts in Florida, the Southern and Middle U.S. Distirict Courts in Florida, the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He has been an Adjunct Professor at Stetson University School of Law since 1992 where he teaches "Environmental Hazards of Real Property:. 

 An active member of the bar and the community, Jim has been a recipient of the Florida Bar Pro Bono Service Award, St. Petersburg Bar Pro Bono Award, National Association for Community Leadership, Distinguished Leadership Award and the Leadership St. Petersburg Alumni Association Leadership Award.  He is General Counsel to the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and serves as a member of its Executive Committee.  He also is an active member of the American Bar Association, Forum Committee on Construction Industry;  He is President of the Community Law Program, s local legal aid program.   He is also a member of the  St. Petersburg Bar Association ; Florida Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section, Environmental Land Use Section;  Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); Leadership Tampa Bay Alumni Association; Leadership St. Petersburg Alumni Association.
