Biography
Jordan Maurer leads our firm’s wrongful death, personal injury and elder abuse practice. If you've been injured and need assistance, please give our office a call. Jordan will answer any questions you have and explain the claim process to you.
Jordan is experienced and has excellent reviews from his clients and other attorneys, including former mentors and attorneys he's prosecuted cases against. He's handled a wide variety of matters and has been recognized by his peers for his investigative skills and for successfully prosecuting several highly challenging liability cases. Jordan is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association, and the Christian Legal Society.
In addition to his legal practice, Jordan serves as a trustee and the president of the Placer County Law Library and the vice president of the Placer County Bar Association. Jordan previously worked for two of the largest firms in California in their respective practice areas (personal injury and commercial litigation). He received his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated early and with honors. Jordan also took and passed the California Bar Exam early. During law school, he worked full-time as a law clerk with one of the largest personal injury firms in California and volunteered with the Placer County District Attorney's Office. Before law school, he worked full-time waiting tables while earning his undergraduate degree from Sacramento State University, where he also graduated with honors.
Jordan was raised in Placer County and graduated from Colfax High School. He currently resides in Placer County with his wife, their two children and their yellow labrador retriever.
