Nothing short of excellent!

I really love this lawyer. She’s flat out amazing. I was/am a dad that immediately felt like I’d be chugging uphill to gain custody of my child once divorce loomed. Fiza took the time to hear me, to look through the evidence I presented, and she was there EVERY step of the way. She was constantly a t...ext or an email away. I looked at other attorneys prior to retaining Fiza. I’m glad that’s all I did. Fiza is an absolute rockstar! You won’t go wrong choosing Fiza to represent you!

Believe the negative reviews

I did my research on different lawyers and decided to hire her. What a joke and waste of time. Completely dissatisfied with her services. Frank was helpful and explained the process so he was mainly the reason why I hired them. After paying the retainer fee I should’ve known that it would be a hassle... to get the divorce and custody moving along. Every meeting I’ve had with Fiza she’s been late. I’ve had to e-mail, text, call, not just her but also her team to get a hold of someone. I was told there was a process server involved and when I called the court to find out the documents mysteriously had been “lost by the court” and she had to “file them all over again”. The documents were filed and finally the papers were served, and we were supposed to set a date for mediation and no date has been set as of yet. This was supposed to happen in January. We are now in October and I’m still trying to get a hold of her by e-mail, calls, and texts and there’s no response. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

Cares about your case and you as a person

Divorce lawyers wear many hats, legal rep, grief Counsler, therapist, all because divorce is possibly one of the worst experiences you can go through besides death. I went through all that and more. Fiza not only gave me superior legal representation but she gave me compassion, patience and emotional... support that I don’t believe many lawyers are capable of. There were times I was in a panic with the drama of my divorce and I would just be an emotional hot mess. Fiza helped me through all of it. She went above and beyond to help me not only legally but as a human. She was there for me throughout it all, through my anxiety driven 2am texts, to my emotional breakdowns, through everything. Divorce is not easy but mine was the worst you can have. Fiza got me the settlement I needed, fought for me in court and got me through even though she had many other clients and cases, she was always there for me. I can’t recommend her enough.

Bad service I call three different numbers they never answer but will text me saying they will call me back bad communication

When I first meet her she seem to ready listen and wanted to help said once I paid she will start on my son case did not happen I asked for paper work from my son case never got it I still call and they won’t answer really disappointed I readed all the reviews all were good don’t know what happen wit...h that cause all I get is nothing don’t know how reliable the reviews are from my services cause I got none not even a phone call I have to find out what going on with my son case all by myself calling courts and looking online please be careful

Divorce

Divorce is one of the most difficult thing you will go through ever! Fiza Syed was mine and my current wife's third experience with attorneys, we both wish they had been our first. As much as you want your case to be decided on what she/he did to you, it won't be. As much as you want to get the last ...word/e-mail/text in don't do it, listen to the Fiza Syed team it's not worth it. case's are decided on the law, and in the end, believe it or not "this too will pass". Fiza Syed knows the law, let them help you, listen to them, and although you may not feel like you got everything "You Wanted", you will be represented by a team that is interested in doing what is ethical as well as in the best interest of the client. Over a year later, we still call on their firm if we have any issues with our settlement. We would use them again, and recommend them every time we are asked who we used, or who we would use. We consider Merchant Law PLLC as very special people in our lives, without her help we would not have the time with our kids that we have today.
